Spring Break. Sun, Sand, Cocktails…watch it Boracay…here comes Marcia, Jill and Rexy. Lee and Deanna also went to the Philippines, but to a different island. Luckily our flights were around the same time. We spent a few hours playing: Would you rather and Question of the Day. Coupled with some eats at the airport. Speaking of airport. We had a 5 hour layover at the Manila airport. Get this combination. A-sleeping on the cement floor with towels at 3:00AM; B-birds flying around up town; C-Shampoo opened up and all over the bottom of my bag; D-Excitly eating skittles because I found them at the airport (none in Korea) and shortly after getting sick—due to junk food and no sleep; E-Best Part? Waking up to ‘quack, quack’ alarm from our itouches. Okay. Time to hit the road to Boracay. Another layover, a ferry ride and then an ungodly fast tricycle (like a motorbike with seats beside it) to the beach. We arrive, 10 am Saturday morning. Hot, dirty, tired and sweating now. BUT loving the view and jacked to get settled and go swimming. Finally after an hour of walking around we found a wicked spot. Red Coconut Bungalows. Welcome drink, showers and bathing suits were next in order.
None of us could have been happier about the beauty that Boracay had to offer. The water, palm trees, sand, service was so wicked. We spent the day swimming, Happy Houring it (is that a verb? Is now). Buy 1 get one free form 4-8pm. Then 1 hour, $7 massages. Would you believe the time we went to bed that night if I told you it was 5:30pm? But come Sunday morning at 7, we were bright eyed and bushy tailed. We decided no numerical time was allowed. What time is it you ask? Drink time, swim time, tan time, eat time. We had some awesome breakies all week at cafes. Really cheap, averaging about $6 each meal. The service there is unreal. “Yes M’am?”rang in my ears the week following the trip. We met some people out and about, a group of Philippino boys and some foriengers living in Hong Kong. This made for some good party nights throughout the week. We purchased some floaty water beds, which kept us highly entertained in the water for hours on end. Jill and I hit up some parasailing. Great view and fun rush!! We also spent a day with “Lucky Bobby” the boat guy with 6 fingers on one hand. 11 in total. Apparently that is good luck? Oh goodness. We went to some different islands, bought some jewlery from locals. Snorkeling and got to see some wicked fish, coral and sea-life, even got to pick up a star fish. We did some cave discovery at Crystal Cove. It was so much fun. But we had to be wicked careful of not burning more. You really have to reapply sunscreen every hour there. A bit of the shocker to the skin from cool, breezy Seoul. We purchased about 5 pairs of knock off sunglasses each, ran us about $3 each. Boracay was perfect. I’d highly recommend anyone to go visit. It really is paradise.
Next stop, Manila for some shopping and city seeing. We quickly went into beach withdrawl, but found ourselves smiling post Prada bag, Lacoste polo deals!
Good time girls! Bring on the Summer Adventures eh??

Wow lovely shot. There a good atmosphere there, mostly at nightlife. So how is your vacation, is it great?
