Day 18: Nakupenda= I love you
Final day in paradise and a great way to end our journey. I began my morning with the sunrise, a hammock, book, and coffee. After breakfast we played an intense game of beach volley and had so much fun! The employee climbed the Vball pole a couple of times to tighten the net, super efficient of course lol. After the game we felt we'd made some new friends, most Dutch people and Europeans in general. The afternoon was sun soaking time, ping pong, and finally dinner. A lot of us at the resort gathered at the pier bar and laughed, shared swear words in different languages, and drank a couple of cocktails. We'd made a little UN family and chatted a lot w the Maasai (tribal group who work at the resort) people about their cultural and ways of life. For example as a medicine for ailments they often drink cows blood mixed with milk.
Today marks the last day of vacation. I've learned, loved (little kids), and lived my life to the fullest in the last few weeks. Thanks for reading/following me. Your support and comments have been appreciated. Nakupenda friends and family.
Signing off!
