Our Theme Song. I've Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas. Because every good adventure deserves a good theme song.
Jane and I hit the ground running at 4:20 am on Friday morning of our Korean Thanksgiving Long weekend (Chuseok).
I begin the blog with this cute picture of me and a random Chinese Family who asked for a photo because it's hilarious...That 'yellow' hair made me feel like a partial celebrity. Pictures with strangers all weekend. Thank YOU hair dye haha...

There were steep parts, flat parts, short stairs, large stairs. The climb was filled with excitment, blood, sweat and tears :)

I stopped a few times and said to myself. I am SO LUCKY to be here.
I felt so awestruck and privledged to experience this.
I'll keep it at three letters.
WOW.
But, not so much for those who built it. There were 30,000 lost lives building the great wall.
It was built between the 5th and 16th century BC. It stretched about 8,851.8 km across the entire country to keep the Mongolians out. Now only 10% of it is accessible to the public and we went to the Betaling section, the highest section!
