Friday night began just stellar. We went to the university area, and ran into 8 Korean guys who took us to a local hof (pub)!! Lots of fun!
Busan is a bit different than Seoul. There are still a lot of waegookins there (foriengers) teaching, but not as many as Seoul. Korean people speak a lot more to you, and try out their English skills with you! It's great fun!
Jen, Wendy and I. Too bad it wasn't a bit warmer. Regardless, the waves are gorgeous.

This is one of the few temples in the world that is on the water front~
Check out her blush AND her manicured feet!!!!!!!!!!
This was the best thing that happened all day! These CUTE doggies are tied up and running around together, carrying their owners beach toys! :)
AGAIN. A man and wife see us laying down and kind of stop and linger, and ask to take a picture with us~! We had to make a fist, no idea why ... when in Rome!
Longest Suspension Bridge in Korea! Gwangali Beach.
This guy gets on the subway and he sees us and just starts spitting out every single english word he knew. It was side splitting:
"Hello, Goodbye, How are you? I'm hungry. I'm tired. I'm not crazy."
He asked where we were from, I said Canada. Then he said, he loved Canada and we were beautiful. Then he starts singing "thank you" in Korean ... "Gammmssammmmnniiiddaaa"
Oh man, we were losing it. Good times. Good times had by all.
Press Play! Fish Market!!!
Press Play!! Temple during Buddha's Birthday. Totally breath taking.
Wait until it gets warm in the summer- you can't even find a place to sit down, the beach is so crowded! I went on a cold day too- dipped a toe in the water haha.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're having a blast there. Have you decided where you're going to go on vacay yet? On the first week most people go to China, then Thailand on the 2nd. Thailand all the way!!!
